Community Recycling
Recycle IT formally Clondalkin Community Recycling Initiative started in 2002 with a collection service added in 2007. During 2018 we offer collection service to approx. 80,000 homes and organizations across Dublin and surrounding areas.
In 2020 Recycle IT closed for a period in order to support health, safety and wellbeing of staff and the recycling public. We reopen at a reduced capacity and after completing risk assessments and updates to our operational policies. We have remained open for drop off and have offered a reduce collections service during 2020. We will continue to work within the Covid 19 guidelines outlined by government.
We collected a range of electrical items including TVs, dishwashers and countless computers and laptops. You can view a full downloadable list of equipment which can be recycled here.
We endeavor to support people from households or in work and place an emphasis on individual needs.
Our award-winning collection teams are experienced and happy to offer additional assistance with lifting or moving electronic items. (limited during Covid 19) As a social enterprise, Recycle IT work to create training and employment opportunities in the areas of recover reuse, and recycling.
